Actually, we aren't paid at all. Unlike our international competitors, who have the benefit of receiving significant financial support from their national federations or government, American sailing athletes at an Olympic level are expected to cover their own campaign costs. Our operating budget is funded through private donations and corporate sponsors. As athletes, we are 100% responsible for securing the financial backing that is crucial to realizing our Olympic goal.

Our costs include coaching fees, purchasing and maintaining equipment, travel expenses, groceries, gym memberships, insurance, and much, much more. We cannot do this without your support. Your donations tie you directly to the success of our team and are the only way we can continue to train and compete at an elite level.

Our campaign is partnered with two great 501C3 public charities who accept donations on our behalf. For donations via check please use Ragnots Amateur Sailing Association(RASA). Donations via credit card go through Skiff Sailing Foundation and the link is below.
